Abnormal Mammogram: How should I worry about breast cancer?
I had an "asymmetry" of the concern inner upper quadrant, near the breast bone with an enlarged lymph node. I continue with the compression at the site and ultrasound. I had pain radiating to the back during the last month. I'm in my 30s, but have not exactly lived healthier life style. How much should be about cancer. Ultrasound Monitoring is scheduled for a week from now.
You should be very worried. 75% of all breast cancers occur in postmenopausal women and about 11% are between 35-44 years. Your situation is not unusual especially if this is your first mammogram. 80% enough for suspicious lumps are not cancer biopsy. They just want to have a better view on the situation.
