I do not know why they call a new type of treatment. . its been around for some time, as well as Gamma Knife and Cyber Knife. . Cryotherapy is sometimes used during surgery. I guess like any other form of treatment using this approach depends on the stage of the disease, the shape and size of tumor, location the tumor or tumors. I know very little about the patients who have successfully used the CyberKnife to the liver and brain food.
